Patricia Ann "Tisha" Sterling (nacida el 10 de diciembre de 1944)[1] es una actriz retirada estadounidense. Es la hija única del actor Robert Sterling y la actriz Ann Sothern.
Vida y carrera
Sterling nació en el Hospital Cedars of Lebanon en Los Ángeles, California.[1] Sus padres se divorciaron cuando ella tenía tres años.[2]
Sterling comenzó a actuar en la década de 1960 con una aparición en la serie de televisión de su madre, The Ann Sothern Show. Más tarde apareció en episodios de The Donna Reed Show; The Long, Hot Summer; Bonanza; los episodios 43 y 44 de Batman como Legs, la hija de Ma Parker (interpretada por Shelley Winters); The Name of the Game; The Bold Ones: The Lawyers; Hawaii Five-O; Columbo; The New Adventures of Perry Mason y Get Smart.
Apareció en los largometrajes Village of the Giants (1965), Coogan's Bluff (1968) y Norwood (1970).
En 1987, Sterling interpretó una versión más joven del personaje de su madre (en flashbacks) en The Whales of August. Anteriormente había interpretado una versión más joven del personaje de su madre en Crazy Mama (1975). Después de ese papel, apareció en otras dos películas. Sterling hizo su última aparición en pantalla en Breakfast of Champions (1999), junto a Bruce Willis.
Vida personal
Desde entonces, Sterling se ha retirado de la actuación y trabaja como florista en Ketchum, Idaho (donde su madre vivió durante muchos años hasta su muerte en 2001) con su hija, Heidi Bates Hogan.[3] Sterling estuvo casada con Lal Baum (1937–1987), el bisnieto del autor L. Frank Baum, desde 1965 hasta 1970.[4][5][6] Baum murió de cáncer el 21 de julio de 1987.[7]
